Position: Head of Legal (SVP/EVP) – Contractual
Number of Positions: 1
Experience Required:

• Minimum 15 years of experience

• At least 10 years in Financial Institutions

Qualification:

• Minimum LLB degree from HEC recognized institute

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess legal risks; develop mitigation strategies

• Prepare and execute legal documentation as required

• Analyze court decisions affecting the bank and recommend policy changes

• Ensure implementation of SBP/SECP prudential regulations

• Administer and supervise 31 Legal Litigation Units nationwide

• Oversee litigation in various courts on statutory, corporate, tax, and service matters

• Maintain updated compendium of Banking Laws for reference

• Monitor latest legislation and court judgments relevant to banking

• Lead the legal team with strong interpretation and drafting skills

• Ensure timely compliance of assigned tasks

• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Eligibility & Conditions:

• No disciplinary dismissal or criminal conviction

• Contractual for 5 years initially (extendable)

• Age limit: up to 55 years on closing date
