Diamer Basha Development Company (Pvt) Ltd. (the “Company”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WAPDA. The Company is responsible for project management, strategic planning, supervision, and providing ancillary services for the construction of the Diamer Basha Dam Project. The Dam will have a gross storage capacity of 8.1 MAF, installed power generation capacity of 4,500 MW, and an annual generation capacity of 18,100 GWh. The project site is located near Chilas (Gilgit Baltistan).
