Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Marine Academy Jobs 2024:

HOW TO REGISTER for Navy Cadet Jobs 2024:

• Prospectus and application forms are available on PMA’s website or at their Admission Office.
• Submit the application form via courier along with a pay order/bank draft of Rs. 3,500 in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi.
• Candidates applying under the Self Finance Scheme (SFS) must submit an additional pay order/bank draft of Rs. 300,000.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

• Entrance Test conducted at multiple locations including Abbottabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and Sukkur.
• Minimum 50% marks required to qualify for the entrance test.
• Medical examination conducted at designated Army Navy Hospitals for shortlisted candidates.
• Final selection based on merit ranking considering FSc marks, Entrance Test marks, Medical Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and final interview.
• PET includes:
  • One mile run in 8 minutes.
  • 15 push-ups.
  • 02 sit-ups.
  • 02 chin-ups.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, & DEGREE:

• 2 years residential training at PMA.
• Upon completion, awarded Associate Degree in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering by NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi.
• Certificates for International Maritime Organization (IMO) recognized Pre-Sea Mandatory Courses.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

• 33 need-based scholarships sponsored by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs.

INELIGIBILITY:

• Applicants with tempered academic certificates or incomplete application forms.
• Those dismissed, removed, debarred, and resigned from Government Service including the Armed Forces.
• Convicted by a court of law for offenses involving moral turpitude.
• Medically unfit candidates as per Armed Forces Hospital Appeal Medical Board.
• Candidates declared color blind.
