Pakistan Army Medical Corps Job Eligibility:
Qualifications:
- 4th/Final Year MBBS students from PMC/PMDC recognized colleges.
Age:
- 20-26 years as of 4 August 2024.
Experience:
- must meet physical and medical standards.
Domicile:
- Pakistan
Gender:
- Male
Physical Standards:
- Height: Minimum 5’4″ (162.5 cm).
- Weight: As per Body Mass Index.
Ineligibility Conditions:
- Twice rejected by ISSB for Post Graduate or Intermediate/Graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) entries.
- Not recommended by GHQ/NHQ Selection Boards more than once.
- Dismissed from government services or armed forces, or convicted of a serious crime.
- Medically unfit due to Hepatitis B&C or other permanent conditions.
Selection and Stipend
- Stipend: Rs 18,583 per month while studying. Up to Rs 222,996 per annum reimbursement after commission.
- Commission: As Captain in the Army Medical Corps after completing education and training.
Registration and Tests
- Registration: Online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk or at nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs).
- Physical Tests: Includes a 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups, and ditch crossing.
- Preliminary Medical Test: Initial medical examination at AS&RCs.
Documents Required
- Attested photocopies of educational and domicile certificates.
- Computerized National Identity Card or Form B.
- 4 passport-size photographs.
- Pay order/banker’s cheque for Rs 1500.
Further Selection
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for intelligence/personality tests and interviews. Final selection based on overall performance.
Basic Military Training
- Duration: 22 weeks at Pakistan Military Academy, Abbottabad.
Bond
- Candidates must sign a bond to serve the Army Medical Corps for a minimum of six years.
Important Dates
- Registration: 13 August to 15 September 2024.
- Preliminary Tests: 23 to 27 September 2024.
