Overall Purpose:

• Lead strategic Plant Operations including planning, reviews, and improvements.

• Manage medium-complexity projects for operational excellence.

• Handle third-party provider coordination and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design plant improvement projects with planners and site managers.

• Develop operational plant strategy aligned with NWC goals.

• Draft policies using best practices and benchmarks.

• Identify and improve weak areas in processes and services.

• Present water resource proposals to government and public.

• Establish and enforce plant safety policies.

• Define strategic objectives for the department.

• Recommend system improvements and support decisions.

• Prepare project breakdowns and implementation plans.

• Review and advise on plant design documents.

• Ensure timely system maintenance and upkeep.

• Determine plant needs: materials, equipment, labor.

• Apply modern operational methods for better efficiency.

• Review safety reports and improve procedures.

• Oversee technical reports and official communications.

• Supervise spare parts procurement (local & international).

• Conduct inspections during and outside work hours.

• Manage all treatment plant units and operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Minimum Experience:

• 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
