GRID GIRLS Internship Program 2025 Details:

Program Overview:

• Paid internship program exclusively for female students in Electrical and Civil Engineering

• Collaboration between National Grid Company (Formerly NTDC) and ADB

• Designed to provide practical experience and leadership preparation

Program Benefits:

• Monthly stipend of PKR 10,000

Eligibility Criteria for GRID GIRLS Internship 2025:

• Female students currently enrolled in Bachelors, Masters, or DAE programs in Electrical, Electronics, or Civil Engineering

• Additionally eligible are recent graduates in the respective professions.

• Strong technical and theoretical knowledge

• Demonstrated interest in the internship field

• Previous internship or research experience preferred

• Availability for full-time commitment during the internship period

Program Structure:

• Cohort 1:

  • 2-month internship

  • For 3rd-year undergraduates (5th & 6th semesters) and 1st & 2nd semester Master’s students

  • Hands-on experience with national projects

• Cohort 2:

  • 1-month internship (runs concurrently with Cohort 1)

  • For 1st year (2nd semester), 2nd year (3rd & 4th semesters), and final year (7th & 8th semesters) undergrads

  • Includes TVET institute students in relevant programs

  • Exploratory and learning-oriented internship
