Eligibility Criteria for Jobs at MEPCO:
For the position of Chief Legal Officer (CLO), candidates must hold at least an LLB degree (LLM or Bar-at-Law preferred) from a recognized institution and be a licensed advocate of the High Court. A minimum of 15 years post-qualification legal experience is required, including at least 5 years in a leadership role or 10 years as an advocate of the High Court.
Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, labor, procurement, and regulatory laws along with expertise in contracts, dispute resolution, and legal advisory is mandatory.
For the position of Chief (Information Technology & Systems) [CIT&S], candidates must possess a 16-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred) from an HEC-recognized university.
A minimum of 10 years professional IT experience is required, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role such as CIO/CTO/DG IT. Experience in ERP systems, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing, and digital transformation within large-scale organizations or the energy/utilities sector is essential.
