Position Overview
WAPDA is seeking a high-caliber, experienced, and dynamic individual for the position of Chairman on a contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications (any one of the following):

Graduate degree in Engineering (HEC-recognized institution)

Master’s in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or Finance (or equivalent, HEC-recognized)

Membership of a recognized professional accounting body

Civil servant in BPS-21 or above, or equivalent rank in Armed Forces
Experience:

Minimum 25 years of professional experience

At least 8 years at a senior/top managerial or administrative level
Key Responsibilities

Oversee planning, execution, operation, and maintenance of water and hydel power resources

Act as head of WAPDA, managing its administrative, financial, and technical functions

Supervise the water, power, and finance wings

Coordinate with national/international bodies, ministries, and regulatory authorities for timely project completion

Handle additional assignments from the Ministry of Water Resources or the Federal Government
