Key Responsibilities:
-
Develop and implement EXIM Bank’s compliance strategy and framework
-
Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations (SBP, global standards)
-
Oversee KYC, AML, CFT, and Proliferation Financing compliance programs
-
Review policies, SOPs, product programs, and marketing materials for regulatory compliance
-
Monitor regulatory updates and maintain a compliance risk inventory
-
Liaise with the State Bank of Pakistan and other regulatory bodies
-
Conduct compliance-related training for staff
-
Develop a Trade-Based Money Laundering (TBML) risk mitigation framework
-
Represent compliance function in board and senior stakeholder meetings
-
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the CEO & President
Qualification Requirements:
-
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or relevant field
-
Degree must be from an HEC-recognized local or international university
Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in banks or DFIs in Pakistan
-
At least 4 years in a senior management or leadership role in compliance within the banking/DFI sector
