1. Terrorism Investigating Officer (TIO) – MBS-III & IV

Qualification:

• 16 years of education in any of the following fields:

  • Criminology, Law, Psychology, Forensic Sciences, History, Sociology, Theology

  • Computer Science, Software/Computer Systems Engineering, IT

  • Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Robotics

  • Virtual Assets, Other Natural & Social Sciences

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in investigation, enquiry, prosecution, intelligence, or trial of criminal cases.

• Preference: Digital investigation/forensics experience.

• For MBS-IV: No experience required.

Examination Subjects:

• Law (ATA 1997, PECA 2016, Fair Trial Act 2013, Police Rules Ch. 21–27) – 20 Marks

• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – 60 Marks

• Interrogation, Case file preparation, Human & Digital Intelligence

2. Cyber Terrorism Investigating Officer (CTIO) – MBS-III & IV

Qualification:

• 16 years of education in:

  • Computer Science, Software/Computer Systems Engineering, IT

  • Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Information Security

  • IoT, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Virtual Assets

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in:

  • Cybercrime investigation (CDR/IPDR Analysis, Digital Forensics)

  • Cyber patrolling, web surveillance, data mining

  • OSINT, Programming, Virtual Assets, Silk Road Investigation, Cybersecurity

• For MBS-IV: No experience required.

Examination Subjects:

• Law (ATA 1997, PECA 2016, Fair Trial Act 2013, Police Rules Ch. 21–27) – 20 Marks

• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – 60 Marks

• Cyber detection (ethical hacking, spoofing, sniffing, social engineering)

3. Terror Financing Investigating Officer (TFIO) – MBS-III & IV

Qualification:

• 16 years of education in:

  • Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, Law

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in:

  • Forensic Accounting, Financial Investigation

  • Management of Accounts, Money/Value Transfer Services (MVTS)

  • Virtual Assets transfer, Forensic Audit, SAP/QuickBooks/SAGE software

  • Collaboration with FMU (STR, CTR, goAML)

• For MBS-IV: No experience required.

Examination Subjects:

• Law (AML Act 2010, ATA 1997, Banking Companies Ordinance 1962) – 20 Marks

• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – 60 Marks

• Detection of terror financing via:

  • Banking & non-banking channels

  • Virtual assets

  • FMU reports & International FIUs

  • Extortion (physical & cyber), Money laundering

  • Smuggling (goods, narcotics, arms, human trafficking)

• Prosecution & Adjudication

• English Essay – 20 Marks

4. Surveillance & Intelligence Officer (SIO) – MBS-III & IV

Qualification:

• 16 years of education in:

  • Criminology, Psychology, Law, Forensic Sciences, History, Sociology, Theology

  • Computer Science, Software/Computer Systems Engineering, IT

  • Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, IoT, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Virtual Assets

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in:

  • Surveillance & Intelligence gathering (human sources, cyber patrolling, OSINT)

  • Crime Mapping & GIS Analysis

  • Preparing Crime Index & Criminal Profiles

  • Publishing intelligence gazettes (Daily & Weekly)

• For MBS-IV: No experience required.

Examination Subjects:

• Law (ATA 1997, PECA 2016, Fair Trial Act 2013, Police Rules Ch. 21–27) – 20 Marks

• Surveillance & Intelligence through:

  • Human sources, OSINT, Cyber patrolling, GIS mapping

  • Data compilation, crime indexing, criminal profiling

  • Publishing Daily/Weekly Criminal Intelligence Gazette

  • Maintaining PF, HS, DP of terrorists & absconders

• English Essay – 20 Marks

Common Conditions for All Posts

• Contract: 3 years (extendable for 2 years).

• Salary: Market-Based with 5% annual increment.

• Must provide Medical Fitness Certificate.

• Must sign Confidentiality Bond (Official Secrets Act 1923).

• TA/DA: As per Govt. policy.
