Who Can Apply for Honhaar Scholarship for BS Students?
This scholarship is open to students from 50 public-sector universities, 16 medical colleges, and 131 graduate colleges.
Scholarship Benefits
The government has allocated 130 billion rupees for this program over 8 years. In the next 4 years, 1,20,000 students will benefit from this initiative. The program aims to remove financial barriers and help deserving students get quality education.
Application Deadline for Honhaar Scholarship for BS Students:
The last date to apply for the Honhaar Merit Scholarship is February 28, 2025. Interested students can apply online at honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk.
Eligibility Criteria for Honhaar Scholarship for BS Students:
Students must meet the following conditions to apply:
- Must be a resident of Punjab.
- Family income should be less than Rs. 300,000 per month (Affidavit required).
- Must be enrolled in the Fall 2024 session in an eligible university or college.
- Minimum marks required:
- Medical Colleges & Top Universities: 80% or above.
- Public Sector Universities: 75% (Sciences), 70% (Arts & Social Sciences).
- HED Colleges: 65% (Sciences), 60% (Arts & Social Sciences).
