Job Opportunity at NADRA – Deputy Director

Position: Deputy Director (Artificial Intelligence)

Maximum Age: 44 years (includes 5 years’ relaxation)
Location: Islamabad
Employment Type: Contract, initially 5 years (extendable)

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year program, 16 years of HEC-verified education) in:

  • Computer Science

  • Artificial Intelligence

  • Data Science

  • Software Engineering

  • Equivalent fields

• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred

• Degrees must be attested by HEC

Professional Experience:

• 7–10 years of experience as a Senior Data Scientist

• IBM Deep Learning Certification preferred

Key Skills & Competencies:

Data & Modeling:

• Work with large-scale, complex datasets

• Develop and optimize machine learning, predictive, forecasting, and optimization models

• Experience with supervised learning (regression, time-series, decision trees, random forests, SVM, etc.)

• Experience with unsupervised learning (clustering, PCA, association rules, etc.)

Technical Tools:

• Data querying languages: SQL, Oracle

• Scripting languages: Python, R

• Statistical/mathematical tools: R, SAS, Stata, Matlab

Analytical & Communication Skills:

• Analyze and extract insights from data

• Translate technical concepts for non-experts

• Present findings to leadership and business teams

• Develop analytic solutions that align with business needs

Modeling & Optimization:

• Build models using statistical modeling, probability, decision theory, and other quantitative techniques

• Improve methodologies and fine-tune models

• Test new data sources and model enhancements

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to advocate technical solutions effectively
