The Ministry of Law and Justice has announced new vacancies for various positions in the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR). Posts as a Legislative Advisor are available in many cities in Pakistan. Candidates can search through the official website within 15 days of advertising.

Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for the desired job post. The required qualification ranges from graduate to matric, depending on the position. Candidates must have tyinping skills, computer literacy, and meet the age limit of 62 years with relaxation as per government rules.

The ideal candidate for the position of Legislative Advisor must hold an LLM (local or foreign), be a Barrister-at-Law, or a qualified Solicitor, with at least seven years of legal experience either in Pakistan or abroad, in public or private sectors.

The role demands strong professional credentials, including hands-on experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as conventions, agreements, MOUs, contracts, and other legal instruments. Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of International Law, the ability to provide legal opinions on policy and regulatory matters, and experience in legislative drafting.

Candidates with prior experience in the public sector, state-run corporations, or reputed private entities will be prioritized. Additionally, the applicant must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be capable of engaging effectively at both national and international levels, and demonstrate professionalism, integrity, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
